POE International Corporation (POEI) is established in 2005, prior to the merger of its predecessor Pan Overseas Electronic Co., Ltd., and Walsin Technology Corporation. Because of the long history of its predecessor, POEI is currently the world second largest suppliers of leaded ceramic disc capacitor; it's also ranked No. 4 among the world-class makers and suppliers of leaded safety ceramic capacitor. POEI product lines also include Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor, Radial Leaded Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor, Axial Leaded Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor, Zinc Oxide Varistor, SMD Chip Tantalum Capacitor, and other surface mounted passive components.

1981	The Electronic Division of Universal Corporation established.
1984	Pan Overseas Electronic Co., Ltd. Officially formed.
1985	The R & D Department started it's operation.
1988	Started MLCC production.
1991	Invested in China to produce ceramic disc capacitors.
1994	Mass produce Safety Ceramic Disc Capacitors.
1995	ISO-9002 & IECQ certified.
1996	Hu-Kou R & D Center started it's operation.
1997	Increased capital to NT$ 720 M.
1998	Increased Capital to NT$ 1.0 B. Public listed on the TSE.
1999	Increased Capital to NT$ 1.4 B. Established POE (H.K.) Ltd.
2000	Increased Capital to NT$ 1.85 B.
2001	Increased Capital to NT$ 2.168 B. ISO-9001certified,.
2002	Mass produced MLCC 0402 size. Implemented TS-16949
2003	Strategic Alliance with Walsin Tech. Became a member of PSA.
2004	Introduced POE brand SMD Chip Tantalum Caps.
2005	Merged with Walsin Technology. Established POE International Corp.
